The cottagers had a boat they used to love to sail and they wanted to sail her again. The lift was their ticket to making this happen.
This was our first lift in the Innisfil area on Lake Simcoe.

Bet Smith and Matthew Haley, Build Team Welder and Leader respectively, enjoying the fruits of their labours. We set the track parallel to an existing staircase and as low to the ground as possible to minimize the size of the top-end platform and keep it close to the hillside at the beach.
We are able to bring the car to about eight inches off the ground, in this case a concrete pad that had been laid years earlier on the sandy beach.
