How Inclined Elevation lifts are greener than wooden stairs

  • they have a smaller environmental footprint, a 100' staircase would cover ~ 400 sq ft of vegetation, a 100' inclined elevator would take up under 14 sq ft

  • they have a smaller visual footprint, the black paint on the tracks does not attract the eye and some lifts are all but invisible

  • they last longer, with proper maintenance our lifts could last 5 generations or more while wooden stairs can rot out in 15 years or less

  • we use cedar with natural Timber Pro stains, we never use pressure treated wood

  • they use less power than a hair dryer
