Track: 191' at 30°
We looked at several possible track routes before finding one tucked away from the rest of the property and almost invisible from the water yet is optimally located at both ends. It opens up easy access to the boathouse as well as a previously hidden and beautiful rock wall that is the highlight of the ride.
With a mere two inches of clearance at the bottom because of rocks on both sides, we set our target to leave one inch on either side. When we ran the car the first time it slid perfectly between the rocks and into the lower station.
This lift is convenient to the boathouse but far enough back from the water that it can hardly be seen. The stone slab pathway leads from the boathouse to the cottage and doubles as the lower station platform.
