This lift runs approximately 200 feet from the edge of their backyard to the valley floor seven stories away. It gives the owners access to miles of cross country skiing while circumnavigating the treacherous forest run that was their only direct route to the trails.
After the lift went in the owners built this access platform.
We used our Installation Hoist to help build the track, saving much wear and tear on the ground, on the building crew, and on the budget.
We’d rather “scare” a tree than take it down.
Looking up the track gives a sense of the length and height.
Knowing that winter snow would cover the lower station if it were on ground level, the owners opted to have us set the track so the lower station finished a few feet off the ground and they added this lower station platform.
