These owners needed to replace a very rotten set of stairs that connected the 65' vertical feet between the cottage and the water. The lift made sense, it was not much greater in cost, could be built more quickly, it would last longer, be easier to use than stairs, and integrated beautifully into the existing decking.

The removal of the stairs also exposed a beautiful rock face that had be hidden under the boards.

The ride is spectacular, with a helicopter-like descent to one side of the lower patio.
