Although this cottage is remote it can be accessed from the water or the land. A steep set of stars was becoming more of an issue and would need replacing soon. To minimize the intrusion onto the deck space we wanted the lift to end at the water edge of the cottage deck even though at required a steeper and higher track. The lower end station is an open field and ready for the addition of a deck which could be easily integrated into the existing boardwalks. We added braces to the usual leg bracing to add stability.

The car is unusual as it has two rotating self-closing self-locking doors and extra substructure to replace the superstructure lost to the second car door.

The owners opted the 3-hp variable speed motor option for a wider safety margin at full capacity in a remote location where voltage dips and surges are more likely to occur.
