Although this lift rises 80' from the lake to the hilltop through a mature forest we were able to find a beautiful line, the upper station used a natural hillock and provided good access to the cottage, the lower station is a step off the forest floor and is framed by two established trees, and amazingly only one mature tree had to come down.
At times you ride as much as 15' off the ground, quite literally in the trees and with the lake in the background. Just below the midpoint of the track, while about 8' off the ground, you inch past a mature tree.

Even though the track is built from the top down we set it so that the trees framed the car door in the lower station, an easy step to the ground. |
