These poeple needed a means of accessing the boathouse roof from the cottage. By extending the catwalk leading from the staircase to the boathouse roof we were able to save the tree just above the lower station and enable people waiting for the lift to stand without blocking the pathway for walkers.

We put the lift in and set the station stops to the correct height before the platform extension were built. Once the gates were in we returned to install the gate interlocks.

The entire track is fairly high off the ground, the floor of the car is about 8' from the ground at the top station, but we were able to set the track to mimimize it's length and visual impact while ensuring that the car would be perfectly positioned in both stations.
